Breakfast in New Madinah Hotel
We booked New Madinah Hotel as the second part of our journey to Saudi Arabia, just after our Umrah at Makkah. The hotel is very conveniently located, within a 5 minute walk from Masjid Nabawi. The shuttle service area to Masjid Quba is also about 7 minutes of walking distance. Rania was very helpful during the process, assisting us with her charming and smiling demeanour. Dates, Saudi coffee, water, tea and lemon-infused water were also always available at the reception. Room: As rightly pointed out in the Booking app, the room has ample space, with three single beds and a large living area. The bathroom is proportionally large, with the bonus of a bathtub and a foot rinse. Amenities were carefully thought out. Beyond the availability of bathrobes, we each had the essential kit. While some areas of the room showed signs of age, the atmosphere was undeniably cosy and charming. Bedding was comfortable, which provided for restful sleep. Power outlets were somewhat awkwardly placed, but we found workarounds for our charging needs. Food: Food was up to the expected standards for breakfast, with a large variety of hot dishes, yogurts, salads, juices. We must mention that the hot dishes, including curries were well-seasoned; the Indian and Pakistani based preparations were spot-on. The selection of breads and pastries was a pleasant surprise, and there was always something for everyone. Service: Undeniably the strong point of the hotel. Staff was very attentive and caring. Special thanks to the kitchen staff: Mr Barkat was constantly on the move, checking on guests to ensure an optimal experience; chef Ahmad was a constant, sympathetic presence and extremely attentive and even prepared waffles for our son.  Our room needs were also swiftly taken care of every time we had something to ask. The general atmosphere was warm and cosy, with the selection of a warm lighting theme, along with the room furniture and colour scheme following this philosophy.

The breakfast and dinner buffet is very good. The chefs, the servers, are all really helpful and courteous and friendly. The entire hotel staff, house keeping and cleaning crews did the best they could. I would really want the hotel management and ownership to look at upgrading the property with new furniture, appliances and lighting fixtures. They were dated and in need to repairs and upgrades. Overall for Umrah with family, I would definitely consider staying there again. The hotel reception and concierge were also very accommodating and I appreciate it highly. But with a family knowing that a good breakfast and a good dinner is available both for 3-4 hour windows is really very attractive and welcomed Also a new mall just opened and has an entrance from the hotel lobby to great shops. So that was great as coming from long walks to the grand mosque , you dont have to walk far to shops for gifts and souvenirs..

We stayed at this hotel in March 2023 ramadan time. We had already booked a hotel but last minute flight delays did not allow us to arrive in Madinah and check in to our previously booked hotel by 10pm so we had to look for another hotel last minute that had 24/7 check in time while we arrived at madinah airport later than planned New Madinah hotel was reasonably priced and had good reviews so we booked it Staff was very helpful, room was very big, towels, tea and coffee, fridge, microwave provided, comfortable beds and clean Hotel was very quiet and calm Helped us book our travel to Makkah Would stay here again Thank you very much

The kind and welcoming attitude of the staff. Always willing to help or assist and with a smile.. fantastic team. The room was very spacious and well laid out. The breakfast menu is excellent however the restaurant needs upgrading and refurbished. It has quote an obsolete look. Overall its been fantastic experience. Especially sister Abeer and her team of reception really made an impact and I am compelled to mention their remarkable customer service and caring attitude. Keep it up. See you next time. JazakAllah Khair

It’s quite close to masjid ae nabwi. Secondly, it’s super clean and well hygiene maintained. I want to mention special thanks to the housekeeping guy Adele. He was extremely helpful, cordial and supportive. Whenever we asked for water bottles, toiletries or towels etc, he provided extra support. I am highly thankful to Adeel for making our stay wonderful as travelling for umrah with a toddler is really difficult but he helped a lot.
